STEINIG TAL KENNEL

Larry Filo, the founder of STEINIG TAL KENNEL, has been actively running the kennel for 30 years. Larry started training Schutzhund dogs and then began a breeding program in 1978 which he still hos today. In 1982 , he started training police dogs and became affiliated with FOX VALLEY TECHNICAL COLLEGE IN APPLETON and, in addition, dogs are trained for search and rescue. Today a large percentage of Wisconsins k9s are products of STEINIG TAL POLICE K9 ACADEMY and STEINIG TAL KENNEL's own breeding stock.

Steinig Tal is one of the few kennels that breed, raise and train their own dogs. Their large breeding program consists of 3 V, schH 3, KKL 1 studs and 3 V schH 3, KKL 1 females , 2 V schH 1, KKL 1 females and 1 schH1 female Over half of the puppies go to working homes whether they are service or sport dogs and the dogs raised and trained by Angie Fink, head trainer, are achieving much success. The kennel has undergone remodeling of the training center and STEINIG TAL now offers, in addition to police training and decoy seminars, obedience classes, in house training and boarding of all breeds.
